No make up must be completely removed before the procedure or it will lead to poorer results. It is best to arrive with no make up on.
In general terms these are not a painful procedures. A number of passes are required with the laser with each treatment. This will lead to a “hot" feeling with each pass. This will settle down quickly after the procedure and is minimised with the advance Zimmer cooler that we use.
Yes redness is a common outcome at the end of the procedure. This usually fades with in 24-48 hrs.
Time in the sun is not recommended at the time of treatment. Exposed skin should be covered with clothing. Where this is not possible a sun screen with an SPF 50 plus should be applied and time in the sun minimized.
Yes some skin conditions preclude the laser treatment. The nurses at Bare Again will ask about this at the time of consultation.
Medication such as roacutane mean the procedure needs to be delayed for six months since your last dose to avoid side effects. It is important therefore to bring a list of all medications that you regularly take with you to your consultation.
Yes numbing cream such as emla is able to be used so long as it is removed thoroughly before the treatment commences. In our experience it is almost never required especially as we use the zimmer cooler. If used the cream takes 45-60min to be effective.

Yes, if you refer a friend for laser skin treatment you will receive a $30 voucher to spend on products in the clinic. This offer does not apply to hair removal treatments.
At Bare Again we believe your treatments should be performed by qualified nursing staff. All the staff we employ have experience in the hospital situation as well as then receiving further laser training.
Failure to attend a booked appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, Bare Again reserves the right to charge 25% of the treatment cost for single treatments.
For prepaid packages, failure to attend a booked appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours then that treatment episode will be deemed to have been taken and deducted from the clients package.
